The project is implemented in the context of the operation entitled "Tourist Promotion of the Region of Central Macedonia" with the co-founding of Greece and the European Union. The application targeting on the visitors of the mountain of Olympus which will experience Augmented reality technology. Depending on the location of the visitor, 3D statues of Greek ancient gods will appear on the screen of mobile device with further information.

For the implementation 3D scanned of actual statues has been used which made from variety of museums. The necessary geometry optimization and texturing has been made in order to meet the smart phone hardware limitations.
